Award winning action at MHIAA stand

The most popular destination at ARBS 2022 was without a doubt the Mitsubishi

The most popular destination at ARBS 2022 was without a doubt the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air Conditioners Australia (MHIAA) stand, which was a hive of activity for the duration of the three-day event.

The open grill with chefs cooking up a storm was a real crowd pleaser and contributed to the buzz surrounding the MHIAA display.

It was impossible to miss the MHIAA stand as it was one of the biggest displays at the show.

When it comes to winning awards MHIAA has no equal so it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise to learn that the air conditioning manufacturer won the Best Large Custom Stand Award at this year's ARBS Exhibition.

In recent years MHIAA has become one of Australia's most awarded brands. It has won Best Brand of Air Conditioners four years in a row by CHOICE. This is in addition to winning the Most Satisfied Customer Award three years in a row by Canstar and Best Rated Split System two years in a row in the Finder Retail Awards.

These accolades certainly set MHIAA apart from the rest of the market. But these weren't the only drawcards on offer.

MHIAA took the opportunity to showcase their new products including the Hydrolution air to water heat pump system. This is all in one heating, cooling and hot water in a single unit that's easy to install and operate with the indoor and outdoor units being surprisingly compact.

MHIAA also showcased its splittable ducted series, along with their award winning range of split systems including the Avanti Plus and the Bronte range.

The filter contains a specially formulated Enzyme-urea compound which breaks down the structure of captured allergens while also deactivating bacteria, mould and viruses.

The Bronte range now features five capacity sizes ranging from 6.3kW to 10kW in both cool only and reverse cycle models.

With a range of convenient functions and features, the Bronte 10kW unit is suitable for both residential and commercial installs and is the largest wall mounted split system available from MHIAA. With a 10.0kW cooling capacity and 11.2kW heating capacity, the unit can be used all year round for heating and cooling.

The unit also incorporates advanced fan blade technology to efficiently deliver an industry leading 20m+ long reach airflow in cooling conditions making this an ideal installation for large open plan living spaces and homes.

With the help of a Wi-Fi adaptor, the unit can also be easily connected to any SMART Device including Alexa-enabled or Google Assistant voice control devices.

Also featured on the stand was an impressive range of high performance VRF systems ranging from 11.2kW up to 168kW making them ideal for commercial applications.

Visitors were able to get a first hand look at the KXZE2 VRF System which has variable temperature and capacity control for improved efficiency and operation. There was a working model of the FDT Series Ceiling Cassette which has Draught Control Technology and Optional Motion Sensor.

The FDT seriesincludes an in-ceiling, four-directional indoor unit which offers improved airflow via a high performance yet low noise fan.

The FDT series won the 2016 Good Design Award by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion. Designed in Europe, this stylish range is available in 6kW to 14kW and has improved aerodynamic performance which reduces the operating noise by as much as 5dB(A).
